Asian Tropical Architecture in a Rustic Setting

“Unobtrusive” is probably the word that best describes the clubhouse at the peak, one of the aptly-named sections at the premier residential seaside community Terrazas de Punta Fuego located in Nasugbu, Batangas.

Rather than detract from the natural beauty of the surroundings area, the Asian Tropical-themed structure actually complements it. The open and airy design of the clubhouse has simultaneously accomplished two things. First, it provides an eye-pleasing layout thanks to the remarkable architecture which creates a very warm and organic feeling.

While the clubhouse has all the modern features to ensure maximum comfort, never does it feel like it's intruding upon the atmosphere of the place. Earthy tones like beige, brown and green make this structure feel like a natural extension of everything else that exist here.

At the same time however, the clubhouse doesn't draw attention to itself. Rather, it naturally allows people to focus on the fact that they're situated at the highest point of Terrazas. By seamlessly blending with the environment, this facility provides residents a cozy place to hang out while enjoying the awesome view of the Batangas plains and South China Sea.

The general concept of the clubhouse was built on the intention to underscore the sweeping view of this particular spot. As a result, this has become an ideal venue which doesn't stick out like a sore thumb in the vast wilderness. On the contrary, stepping into the clubhouse will cause one to drop any thought other than how expansive the terrain is.

The elegant and minimalist design offers an unhindered eyeful of the surrounding hills and bodies of water. One look around, and you won't have any problems sticking around and spending some quality time with your friends and family.

For starters, there's a wide infinity pool right in the center pool the clubhouse if you feel like putting in a few laps or just want a little dip to cool of. Of course, pools are nothing new, but having a spectaculars view at your disposal certainly enhances the swimming experience.

Standing at the edge of the pool gives the impression that someone perched on a seemingly precarious spot could fall and tumble down the treacherous slopes just below. However, this is all an elaborate optical illusion as there's underlying concrete flooring obscured from view which prevents the risk of falling.

Another thoughtful addition is the pair of outdoor showers which also blend right into the lush environment. Made out of stone, it seems like they've always been part of the terrain rather than deliberately being built there. The gazebos on the both sides of the pool are a nice touch, allowing people to eat or chat by the edge of the clubhouse and take in the horizon.

IF you're in the mood to curl up with a book or a hot cup of your favorite beverage, the central area is decked out with comfy couches and chairs for you to do exactly just that. After all, nothing goes better with a good read than a whiff of fresh mountain air to clear your head.

All in all, The Peak's clubhouse is the ideal marriage of modern and nature-based elements which make for a great experience. By cleverly employing the best of both worlds, this unique spot embraces nature by building around it and adding to the beauty of the environment. In the end, what you have is the best place to enjoy the benefits of urban living in a relaxed rural setting.
