Sales generated came from Leisure Communities (331 Million), Luxury Home Communities (269 Million) and Resort-Inspired Condominiums (205 Million). It was time for pageantry in a tropical paradise—Aquaria, the premier leisure and entertainment destination of the Playa Calatagan Leisure Tourism Estate, opened the summer season in the seaside, sun-kissed town of Calatagan with a rocking beach bash that had guests partying all through the day. It was a truly auspicious and fun way to launch the newest world-class beach resort in Playa Calatagan, Calatagan, Batangas.

Guests enjoyed the various activities and the entertainment provided by amazing performers. They couldn’t get enough of the beach activities that included soccer, volleyball, and Frisbee games. The more adventurous types went out kayaking and had a fun time getting splashed while riding the banana boat. Others tried out the ATV and jet ski, while some preferred some mountain biking action.

Kids and their parents tried the various game booths, as well as the glitter tattoo and face painting booth. There were also SUP (stand-up paddle board) lessons, definitely a fun new way to enjoy the sea while getting a not so heavy workout.

Aquaria came alive with colors and drumbeats during the mardi gras parade. The crowd cheered for the day’s performers like the human statues; drum beaters; jugglers; stilt-walkers; unicyclists, and costumed dancers.

Sales were driven by earnings from the Urban and Visayas-Mindanao Communities, which reached Php1.63 billion , Hometown Communities which netted Php760 million, and  Leisure Communities that made Php703 million.

“The demand for upscale properties is robust as seen in the increased patronage of our projects nationwide,” said Landco CEO Alfred Xerez-Burgos III. “We see this trend continuing this year as signs of favorable economic activity remain visible.”

Landco’s Tribeca Private Residences in Sucat, Muntinlupa City remained its most sought-after development posting Php1.01 billion. Playa Azalea in Samal, Davao del Norte finished second by earning Php373 million.
